Game System

CTTC has a unique system that encourages fair play and game time among members of different skill levels. Each member may challenge any table that has been grouped by skill levels.

To challenge a table, a player places his/her paddle at the side of the table in plain view just below the net. Only one paddle per individual may be down at any one time. No one may challenge more than one table at a time.

All matches are 11 points using best 2 games out of 3. The player who won 2 games is the winner and may stay on the same table for a maximum of 2 consecutive winning turns, after which the player has to re-queue. All games are governed by International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules.

Player may not refuse a challenger but may choose to retire from the winning table for a break. If this happens, the table goes to the next paddle in line. The player giving up the table cannot designate a player to take his/her place. Challengers can estimate the wait time by the number of paddle ahead of them.
